Vera Farmiga to star in `Goats`

London: Vera Farmiga has been roped in to star in indie comedy `Goats`.

The "Up In The Air star" will appear alongside David Duchovny, Keri Russell, Will Arnett and Minnie Driver in the film based on Mark Jude Poirier`s novel. The movie, directed by Christopher Neil, tells the story of teenager Ellis arriving at the school where his dad was a well-regarded student. However, rather than being influenced by his father, Ellis takes inspiration from the mysterious Goat Man - played by David, reports contactmusic.com. Farmiga will play the boy`s mother while Will takes on the role of her boyfriend, with Minnie playing her best friend and Keri portraying Ellis` father`s new girlfriend. IANS
