Annu Kapoor, Durga Jasraj team up again to host TV show

New Delhi: After popular music show ‘Antakshari’, Annu Kapoor and Durga Jasraj are set to recreate the same magic as the hosts of the new show ‘Idea Jalsa - Music for the Soul’ on Zee TV. Conceived and produced by Durga`s company Art & Artistes` (I) Pvt. Ltd, ‘Music for Soul’ is a performance based show which will bring together legendary music exponents and new talents to provide a diverse presentation of the rich and varied forms of Indian music. ‘Idea Jalsa - Music for the Soul’ show will go on air Feb 6 and the inaugural episode will see a performance by Santoor maestro Shivkumar Sharma. Both Annu and Durga became hugely popular as hosts of music show ‘Antakshari’ in the early 1990s. The show ran for 10 years. IANS
