Ashish Kapoor replaces Yash Pandit in `Savitri`

New Delhi: TV actor Ashish Kapoor is all set to replace Yash Pandit in fantasy series `Savitri`. Yash, who was earlier essaying the role of Satya, has bid adieu to the show. The show will go 1000 years back in time and bring forth a mythological tale of Princess Damyanti, played by Riddhi Dogra. Ashish was last seen in `Love Marriage Ya Arranged Marriage`. In `Savitri` he will be seen playing the character of Veer, who saves Princess Damyanti from Rahukaal. "I will be playing the character of Veer, who is a warrior and later turns out to be the bodyguard of the princess. I am very much excited to be a part of the show and about my character," Ashish said. Ashish has also been spending a lot of time preparing for the role of a warrior. PTI
