New Delhi: 'Bigg Boss' is undoubtedly the most controversial show on television. And the audience laps it up every season for the past eight seasons. Even though this season has been lukewarm, and the people have not been as excited as in the past, it has not been devoid of its share of flabbergasting controversies.
Ali Quli Mirza - Sonali Raut: First it was Ali inappropriately touching the 'Xpose' model. Although he claimed that it was not intended that way, he was punished for it. Later in the show, Puneet Issar revealed that Ali had also made some derogatory remarks about her, and Sonali slapped him right across his face. The entire house supported her and Ali tried to escape the house but to no avail. Sonali was nominated for every week till the end of the show.
Punnet Issar pushing Aarya Babbar: The veteran actor was evicted from the show after being violent with Aarya Babbar, only to be brought back after an apology. He was made to stay in a jail, much to the chagrin of Babbar. When Aarya was evicted in the voting process he went on to say to reporters that Issar was "obnoxious, cheap and dirty."
Diandra kissing Gautam openly in front of the cameras: Perhaps repeating the success of Kushal and Gauhar from last season was on their minds, when Diandra Soares and Gautam Gulati started to get touchy-feely. The two were often spotted touching each other and whispering sweet nothings. There came a time when Diandra pulled Gautam in the bathroom, leaving the audience guessing. Unfortunately, Gautam may have freaked out as he decided to be 'Just Friends'.
Ali pees in the garden: The lowest level the show could have sunk to was this moment. Ali Quli Mirza - who is the limelight of all things crazy in the show - decided to defecate in the garden because his task was to not move from the chair. That was truly the most disgusting moment of Indian television
Diandra pregnancy rumours: This rumour came to light after a daily published that the model might be pregnant after she was seen ill and fatigued the last few days. The rumour has been denied, and officials have confirmed that she was given medical attention because she was 'actually' ill. But the tongues have kept wagging ever since.
