Mumbai: If you think only Bollywood stars could kiss and makeup then here’s something that will surprise you. Sunil Grover who rose to fame as Gutthi in Kapil Sharma’s ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ is reportedly planning to return to the show.
If the latest buzz is anything to go by, then Grover, who quit the super-hit comedy show in November, last year, will soon be back on the show. Grover had parted ways with Kapil owing to some financial differences. The former was eventually signed by a rival channel for ‘Mad In India’, a show that failed to connect with the audiences.
Many were of the opinion that Grover shouldn’t have had quit ‘Comedy Nights With Kapil’, a show that made him a household name. His character Gutthi turned into one of the most lovable TV characters and her signature song ‘Aap aaye humare ghar mein...phool khile hain gulshan gulshan’ a super-hit.
And if the speculations turn out to be true, it would be interesting to see if the audiences will embrace Grover with the same warmth.
Until then, let’s just wait and watch.
