Gates of ‘Roadies X’ open up for Delhi!

Zeenews Bureau Noida: It was like an electrifying environment today at the Delhi International Expo-center, as India`s most popular youth exploring reality show ‘MTV Roadies’ into its 10th season was in the city for the auditions. With more than 12, 000 young boys and girls waiting eagerly for their chances to step into the group discussion round, it appeared to be like a festival out there. The contestants had to get through the group discussion round to qualify for the PI (Personal Interview) which is the 2nd and the final segment of the auditions. The 10th season of MTV Roadies promises to be different from its previous versions as Raghu Ram, the real man behind the phenomenon called ‘Roadies’, is likely to compete with Rannvijay Singh, the winner of the show`s debut season. Prior to the Delhi auditions, Raghu Ram addressed the crowd. He gave tips about how to get through the levels and also at the end in his typical sarcastic way (for what he is famous for) said “glucose rakhna sath me”. Other judges Rannvijay and Rajeev Laxman also kept on boosting the morals of the crowd at regular intervals. In the ongoing season, contestants will be part of Raghu and Rannvijay’s teams. The new selected Roadies will go under Rannvijay`s squad and Raghu will compete with his team of ex-Roadies. It is touted as “a battle for glory”, where the young but energetic new Roadies will come to blows with the experienced ones. The GD (group discussion) round was challenging indeed, as many controversially trending topics like “Kejriwal`s way, right or wrong?”, “premarital sex” etc were given to the contestants. After Delhi auditions, Chandigarh and Hyderabad are supposed to be the next stop in the journey of auditions for Roadies.
