London: TV personality Howard Stern is reportedly quitting talent show "America's Got Talent" at the end of season 10 to pursue another TV opportunity.

The 61-year-old star, who has appeared as a judge on the series for four seasons since replacing Piers Morgan in 2012, is set to leave the show, reported Female First.

According to sources, the radio host hinted he is stepping away from the show to pursue another TV opportunity and suggested the show's creator Simon Cowell could take his place.

He apparently claimed producers asked him to make a decision about his season 11 contract before July 4 so they could start securing audition venues.

Stern, who currently sits on the judging panel alongside Howie Mandel, Heidi Klum and Mel B, previously admitted he seriously considered quitting the series in 2013.

"I really, really did struggle... Because I've been working a long time. I really wanted to decide if this was going to take away too much free time. Did I really still enjoy doing it? Did I have something to say? Is it something I should be involved with still?" Howard said.
