Lisa Kudrow prefers ‘Friends’ spoof to reunion

New York: Lisa Kudrow thinks that a ‘Friends’ reunion, be it a television special or a feature film, is highly unlikely.
“I don’t think it will ever happen whether any of us want it to happen or not,” the New York Post quoted Kudrow as telling E! Online this weekend. “I don’t think any of us would do it unless [‘Friends’ creators] David Crane and Marta Kauffman wrote it and I don’t know how they could do it,” she said. The hit show ran for ten seasons and 236 episodes, and still elicits a high level of nostalgia. Vanity Fair even ran an “Oral History of ‘Friends’“ in its May issue. Still, Kudrow hopes that it will be several decades before Central Perk is revived. “The Brady Bunch [movie] was hilarious because it was a spoof,” said Kudrow, explaining her ideal. “I can’t wait from 10, 20 years from now to see the younger actors. I think that will be really fun,” she added. ANI
