Mumbai: Sunil Grover’s much-hyped show ‘Mad In India’, which was launched on Sunday, failed to impress the critics as they believed it had nothing new and interesting to offer. Nonetheless, Grover got rave reviews from his fans on Twitter and the actor thanked everyone for showering love on him. Here’s what Gover had to say, “Aap sab ko pyar bhara surya namaskar!Thnks 4 all the love and attention to last night`s epi of Mad in India.:) being loved is best in India (sic).” Grover’s ‘Gutthi’ act in Kapil Sharma’s ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’ had struck a hilarious chord with the audiences worldwide. Gutthi went on to become one of the most loved small screen characters of all times, but Grover’s premature exit from the show forced the makers to bid goodbye to the character. Grover was believed to have had a tiff with the makers of the super-hit show over his pay package. It was also being speculated that Grover had ego issues with Kapil. However, the two comedians categorically denied having a rift between them. ‘Mad In India’ isn’t a Sunil Grover show in entirety. A number of other popular TV faces - Manish Paul, Shweta Tiwari - are associated with it.
