London: Pop diva Mariah Carey pulled out of a US TV interview on Valentine`s Day to grieve the loss of her friend Whitney Houston.
The `Hero` hitmaker was due to appear on Good Morning America on Tuesday to discuss her role as a spokesperson for diet firm Jenny Craig and chat about losing weight after giving birth to twins, Contactmusic reported. "Mariah is still mourning the death of her friend and collaborator Whitney Houston and thought it was too soon to appear on TV to discuss anything else," said her representative. Carey, 41, who duetted with Houston on 1998 tune `When You Believe`, posted a tribute to the late singer on her Twitter page on Sunday. "Heartbroken and in tears over the shocking death of my friend, the incomparable Ms Whitney Houston. My heartfelt condolences to Whitney`s family and to all her millions of fans throughout the world," she posted. PTI
