MasterChef Australia winner Brent Owens professes love for Indian cuisine

New Delhi: MasterChef Australia Season 6 winner Brent Owens, who is currently in New Delhi leg of his India tour to promote Season 7 of cooking reality show, professed his love for Indian cuisine.

Owens, who took to cooking at the tender age of 16, spoke exclusively to ANI about Indian food and said, "I love to try new food and I went to Juhu Beach in Mumbai a few days ago where I gorged on Sevpuri, Panipuri, Vada Pav, Dosa and Idli".

The Australian reality TV cook asserted that he always tries to experiment as much as he could and he will be doing the same in the national capital.

The 24-year-old former Bobcat driver also loves Mexican, Spanish and South-Asian food.

Owens, who describes his food as modern Australian, added that heritage of food was really important to him and that's how he comes up with his own masterpieces.

Owens also wished good luck to contestants of MasterChef Australia Season 7. (
