Meghan McCain to host `The View`

London: American columnist, author and blogger Meghan McCain is being lined to host `The View`, as Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy are leaving the daytime talk show.

The 29-year-old, who is the daughter of Senator John McCain, is currently under contract as the host of `Take Part Live`, reportedly. Meanwhile, fans are waiting to see who ABC announces as the replacements, but the TV network isn`t fuelling any speculations. "Any specific names at this point are rumour and speculation," an ABC representative said. "There are no decisions and we are not ready to make any announcements."
