Veena Malik has certainly hit a jackpot with her sleazy stint on ‘Bigg Boss’ and her subsequent rise to fame post her “nude” photo shoot for FHM magazine last year. In less than 2 years, the Pakistani starlet has managed to garner name and fame in India (so what if she has been in news for all the wrong reasons). And she couldn’t have asked for more, for she has received over 71240 marriage proposals from across the world. Veena Malik is gearing up for her TV show ‘Veena Ka Vivah’, the fourth season of ‘Swayamvar’, and is ecstatic to see Indian bachelors seeking her hand for marriage. Though prospective grooms from all over the world have sent in their entries, bachelors from India form the majority. Talking to a leading daily, the actress said, “I`m humbled by the response I have received and thrilled that majority of the entries have come in from India. I want to thank everybody for their continuous love, support and faith in me and I hope they will hold my hand in the most important journey of my life.” We wonder if Veena’s matrimonial union with an Indian paves the way for a new Indo-Pak peace process! But will the lady find her ultimate man? We will have to wait and watch.
