Saurabbh Roy to play Draupad in `Mahabharata`

Mumbai: Actor Saurabbh Roy is ready to slip into a mythological character. He will play Draupadi`s father, Draupad, in the upcoming show “Mahabharata”. He is overjoyed with the opportunity.

“Unlike my character in daily soaps like ‘Amita Ka Amit’, the role of Draupad demands a lot more physical fitness and elegance,” Saurabbh said in a statement. He was earlier a part of the show “Khatron Ke Khiladi Torchar” with actress Smita Bansal, and was also seen on “Amita Ka Amit” as Amita`s dream boy. "Mahabharata" will air soon. IANS
