Shane Warne’s ladylove Elizabeth Hurley to appear on `Gossip Girl`

Los Angeles: Elizabeth Hurley is coming to `Gossip Girl,` guest-starring as a media mogul in multiple episodes of the teen soap.

Her character, Diana Payne, is a take-no-prisoners sort whose arrival on the Upper East Side will bring drastic alterations to the lives of the show`s scandal-prone inhabitants. The British model, who played a fembot in `Austin Powers,` was recently attached to play evil villain Veronica Gale on the NBC pilot `Wonder Woman,` but the pilot was not picked up. She`s also due to star alongside Vincent D`Onofrio and Rachael Leigh Cook in the upcoming western thriller `High Midnight.` News of Hurley`s `Gossip Girl` casting was first reported by TVLine, and confirmed by the CW Network.
