New Delhi: Thanks to hectic work schedules, TV actors hardly get time to celebrate festivals with their family and friends. But for Eid-ul-Fitr Friday, actors like Hina Khan and Anas Rashid have planned to feast on biryani and kebabs after shooting.
Hina, who plays Akshara in `Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai`, said: "I want to celebrate the festival with my family. I am looking forward to the feast, especially biryani and reshmi kebabs that my mother cooks." "It is a special day for every Muslim because after a month of Ramazan, we are blessed with the holy day of Eid. My day starts with offering namaaz to the Almighty, followed by visiting people and relishing some delicious food," she added. Anas, who essays the role of Sooraj in "Diya aur Baati Hum", has a working day on Eid, but he wants to make sure he spends some time with his loved ones. "We celebrate Eid every year at my place but this year it`s going to be a working Eid for me as we are shooting back-to-back. I`ll probably go out with friends for dinner or celebrate differently post shoot," he said. For actor Mohammad Nazim, who is seen as Ahem in `Saath Nibhana Saathiya`, `Eid holds a special place`. "I spend Eid with my family and close friends. I would never miss this for anything. My fondest Eid memories are from my childhood. Our extended family used to come to our place in Punjab. "Spending hours bonding with my cousins and siblings are memories I will always cherish. We used to have Iftar, and the best part was the food," he added. IANS Pic Courtesy: Facebook
