Want to prove myself as an actor: `DID` winner Faizal Khan

New Delhi: `Dance India Dance Little Masters 2` winner, Faizal Khan, who will be seen in upcoming TV show `Bharat Ka Veer Putra - Maharana Pratap`, says he now wants to focus on his acting career.

Son of an auto-rickshaw driver, 15-year-old Faizal plays young Maharana Pratap on the show and he considers himself lucky to have got this opportunity. "I am happy to have got a chance to display my acting skills as people have always known me as a dancer. I want to prove myself... I want to be a star someday," he said. While shooting for the show, Faizal underwent training for sword fighting and horse riding. He also read books about Maharana Pratap to understand his character. "It`s a great exposure for me and I am learning a lot. Moreover, I am travelling so much. We were shooting in Jaisalmer recently, it was beautiful but very hot," he added. PTI
