The popular TV actor has wrapped up the shoot of Sony TV’s `Chhanchhan` and taken off for a well deserved holiday without a back up
Sanaya Irani, who was the lead actor in `Chhanchhan` has done several TV shows like `Left Right Left Season 2` (Sab TV), `Radhaa Ki Betiyaan Kuch Kar Dikhayengi` (NDTV Imagine), `Miley Jab Hum Tum` (Star One) – which put her on the map. Post which she signed `Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon` opposite Barun Sobti and the rest like they say is history.
Now before Chhanchhan, the actor was offered several shows on various channels, including the love story – `Do Dil Ek Jaan` by Saurabh Tewari’s `Nautanki Telefilms`. The actor rejected the offer as she wanted to do something different and took up the offer from Sony TV. Clearly, that didn’t work out as planned.
If rumours are to be believed, `Nautanki Telefilms` is really keen on casting Sanaya in one of their shows. So they’ve offered her another daily soap which is a love story again. The plot revolves around a girl who believes in love and is challenged by a man who thinks it doesn’t exist. Now we are sure that if Sanaya takes this up, she will excel in it, but we can’t really guarantee much about the show, no?
Our issue is that Sanaya will be back doing a role that we all know she’s good at but where’s the challenge in that. Anyway, while we look forward to this show on Colors, we hope the actor dares to attempt something fresh and new.
