Karan Johar movies may have set the benchmark for the portrayal of glamorous lifestyles but they also unfailingly offer a kaleidoscope of emotions. The latest release of the 44-year-old director - 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' - has successfully managed to touch the hearts of the audience with its interesting storyline and brilliant performances.

The plot revolves around MBA student Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor) who bumps into Alizeh (Anushka Sharma) at a party. And they feel the sparks and decide to pursue their friendship forward. As expected, both Ranbir and Anushka belong to wealthy families – the jet set tribe. Despite all the Bollywood cliches, 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' makes a positive impression on the viewers from the opening scene.

The first half of the flick is super-high on the entertainment quotient. Some sequences are hilarious enough to make you go ROFL. You will be amazed to know that after delivering a dry run at the Box Office, Ranbir is now back to spectacular form and 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' is the proof. In some sequence, he doesn't even require any dialogues to make an impact on the viewers. His versatile expressions were enough to make the audience understand the intensity of the moment.

If we talk about Anushka Sharma, then it wouldn't be wrong to say that 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' is another feather in her cap. We already know that she is a brilliant actress. With ADHM, she has pushed the bar a mile further. Her dialogue delivery is exceptional and effortless.

Sadly, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is not there throughout the movie. She makes her first appearance in the second-half and takes control of the script. Every look of Aishwarya is spilling glamour all over the screen. What makes 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil' more interesting is the sensual electricity that Ranbir and Aishwarya produce with their romance.

The second-half of the movie is high on emotions and intense drama. This also dampens the flow which the movie gained in its first-half.
