Mumbai: And the wait ends here. Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ has released today amid much fanfare and excitement. Directed by Tinu Suresh Desai, ‘Rustom’, a thriller inspired by a real life incident will see Akshay essaying the role of Paris Naval officer.

Ileana D’Cruz plays the role of Rustom Pavri’s wife in the film which is set in the backdrop of India of the 1950s.

Also featuring Arjan Bajwa, Parmeet Sethi and Esha Gupta, ‘Rustom’ is one of the most anticipated films of the year. It is Akki’s fourth  film in 2016 after ‘Airlift’, ‘Housefull 3’, ‘Dishoom’ in which he had a cameo and now ‘Rustom’.
