London: An Australian disaster film about a plane that crashes in a remote stretch of ocean en route to China has been shelved following the loss of Malaysian Airlines flight MH370.Gary Hamilton, managing director of Arclight Films said that they thought it wasn`t the right time to make a film about a plane crash right now and therefore, they decided that it was best to pull back on production of the film for few months.
Hamilton said that although the film`s plotline did not overtly match the real-life events of flight MH370, it is a sequel of sorts to shark-horror film `Bait 3D` which was a surprise hit in China. Pre-production for the film began in Queensland just before the flight went missing on March 8.
