`Band Baaja Baaraat` releasing on Dec 10

Mumbai: Yash Raj Films` next venture, `Band Baaja Baaraat` is releasing on December 10 in cinemas worldwide, the production house said here today. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, who was Associate Director of Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, and Produced by Aditya Chopra, the film stars newcomer Ranveer Singh along with Anushka Sharma. The music has been composed by Salim-Sulaiman, a release said. Ranveer is a fresher with no modelling or acting experience and was selected after his very first audition. It is Anushka`s third film with YRF after her debut in `Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi`. The story revolves around Shruti (Anushka) and Bittoo (Ranveer), who are just out of Delhi University. A chance meeting brings them together and they reluctantly start a tumultuous entrepreneurial venture as Wedding Planners. Their business enters the ups and downs of the lavish world of the glamour and glitz of Delhi weddings that tests their friendship over time. PTI
