New Delhi: Social media has become a hot favourite with filmmakers and actors to promote their work and it is indeed a great way to garner publicity.

The micro blogging site Twitter is a common platform for Bollywood celebs to unveil their movie posters, songs or to announce their upcoming projects.

Keeping this in mind, Bollywood's youngest loverboy Varun Dhawan is busy promoting his next flick `Badlapur`.

He shared the teaser poster of the movie on his Twitter handle ahead of the release of the first look from the film which is set for tomorrow.

Director-producer Karan Johar, who launched Varun in `Student Of the Year`, also took to Twitter to promote the actor's film.

The film starring an ensemble cast of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Huma Qureshi, Yami Gautam, Divya Dutta and Radhika Apte, is scheduled for release on 20 February 2015.
