Los Angeles: 'Star Trek' star Chris Pine is reportedly eyed to play the superhero character Green Lantern.
Warner Bros is considering to cast Pine as the next Green Lantern in the studio's forthcoming films 'Justice League Part One', 'Justice League Part Two' and 'Green Lantern', according to Umberto "El Mayimbe" Gonzalez of Latino-Review, reported Ace Showbiz.

"Yes, Captain Kirk. Again, this is still just a rumour hence unconfirmed. Been hunting this one for a while so the search is still ongoing. How do you guys feel about it, IF again a big IF, it is indeed true? #HalJordan #JUSTICELEAGUE #DC #DCCU #batmanvsuperman #Warners."
Ryan Reynolds previously played the DC Comics superhero Hal Jordan/Green Lantern in the 2001 big screen feature 'Green Lantern'. Actors like Tyrese Gibson and Common have recently been quoted as saying they would love to play the superhero on screen.
