Dakota Fanning to play mad patient in `Brain on Fire`
`Twilight` actress Dakota Fanning has been tapped in for the movie adaptation of Susannah Cahalan`s autobiography `Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness`.

Los Angeles: `Twilight` actress Dakota Fanning has been tapped in for the movie adaptation of Susannah Cahalan`s autobiography `Brain on Fire: My Month of Madness`.
The 20-year-old actress, who played Jane Volturi in `Twilight` series, will be portraying the book`s author in the movie that depicts the young woman`s terrifying descent into madness, reportedly.
The book chronicles the swift path of Cahalan`s illness at the age of 24. She remembers waking up in a hospital with no recollection of the events of the previous month, during which time she was told she had violent episodes and delusions.
Movie rights to Cahalan`s bestselling memoir are bought by Charlize Theron`s production company Denver and Delilah. The `Prometheus` actress is also expected to portray a supporting role in the upcoming true-story drama.
