David Gest’s MJ film to ‘set the story straight’

David Gest has revealed that his new film about Michael Jackson will “set the story straight” about the pop legend.

London: David Gest has revealed that his new film about Michael Jackson will “set the story straight” about the pop legend.
Gest, 58, said that he produced the documentary ‘Michael Jackson: The Life Of An Icon’ because he was tired of reading “fictitious” stories about the singer. “I woke up one morning and said I’m going to make a movie about Michael’s life because I was tired of reading all this crap about him, all these tales that were so fictitious,” Sky News quoted Gest as saying. “I thought let’s set the story straight but let’s give the people a movie that says something new. Not the same rehash, the same moves and that’s what I did,” he added. The late King of Pop’s older sister Rebbie said the film had moved her to tears with its honest portrayal of her brother. ANI
