Mumbai: Salman Khan fans will swear by his magnanimity and hail him for his philanthropic initiatives. The hunk of an actor, who is more often in news for all wrong reasons, has been instrumental in helping many of his colleagues in the industry besides giving a number of newcomers an opportunity to showcase their talent.
And now, if the latest buzz is anything to go by, then the ‘Dabangg’ Khan of Bollywood is planning to open a chain of theatres across the country that would be unlike multiplexes.
According to a report in dnaindia.com, the actor’s theatre project – Salman Talkies – will have much cheaper movie tickets to make cinema affordable to one and all.
His theatres may open during Diwali thereby benefitting his former ladylove Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s film ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’.
Interestingly, both these actors happen to be his ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’ co-stars.
Well, if Salman Talkies gets launched ahead of Diwali, we are sure Ash and Ajay collectively will be its first beneficiaries.
