'Impressed' Kriti Sanon lauds 'Udta Punjab'

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Kriti Sanon has joined a list of celebrities who have praised the recently released movie 'Udta Punjab'.

Taking to social media, the 25-year-old actress tweeted, "Loved #UdtaPunjab !Superb direction by #AbhishekChaubey!Absolutely brilliant performances! @aliaa08 @shahidkapoor @diljitdosanjh #Kareena."

Celebrities, including Preity Zinta, filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, actor Karan Singh Grover, Arshad Warsi, and Dia Mirza have also applauded the movie via Twitter.

Abhishek Chaubey's directorial, which highlighted the impact and menace of drug abuse in society, particularly in Punjab, features Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh in lead roles.

The movie was released by the Censor Board on June 17 with an 'A' certificate.
