London: Actor Johnny Depp, who will star in the fifth `Pirates Of The Caribbean` movie, is expected to make around 60 million pounds from the latest installment of the blockbuster franchise.
The 49-year-old, who recently split from his partner of 14 years Vanessa Paradis, is said to be choosing his roles carefully so that his star worth does not decrease, reported Sun Online.
"Johnny is being very careful he does not sign on for too many films. He doesn`t want to ruin his career with over exposure like John Travolta or Nic Cage did," a source said.
Depp was recently spotted hanging around with his friends for the first time since he broke up with Paradis .
"This huge deal for `Pirates` means he will be able to pick his other roles very carefully on the strength of their script rather than their salary," he added.
