London: Julia Roberts admits starring in 1990 romantic comedy `Pretty Woman` had a "profound effect" on her life as it turned her into a star. The 42-year-old says she has a special place in her heart for the movie in which she played a down-on-her-luck prostitute because of the way it changed her life, reports femalefirst.co.uk. "`Pretty Woman` had a profound effect on my life, so I have an incredible affection for that movie. But it`s like picking your favourite friend, it`s impossible.
