Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut impressed one and all with her debut film 'Gangster' way back in 2006. But unfortunately, the genuinely talented girl was stereotyped and offered roles that failed to do justice to her potential. Her true worth got noticed by Vikas Bahl who delivered ‘Queen’, a film that gave the Himachali beauty a new lease of professional life.
Kangana has two National Awards to her credit and is indeed going places. She has Vishal Bharadwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ opposite Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan and a Hansal Mehta film in the pipeline.
The curly-haired diva has also been roped in for a biopic on India’s warrior queen- Rani Lakshmi Bai. And now if the latest buzz is anything to go by, then the super talented actress is being considered to essay Maanyata’s role in the Sanjay Dutt biopic. If the Bollywoodlife.com report turns out to be true, then we will see Kangana romancing Ranbir on screen for the first time. It will indeed be a refreshing pair.
Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the biopic will see Ranbir Kapoor play Sanjay.
However, there has been no official confirmation on Kangana's role in the film as yet.
