Kunal Kapoor replaces Arjun Rampal in ‘Don 2’

Spicezee Bureau Mumbai: Looks like Farhan Akhtar has wasted no time in replacing Arjun Rampal from his much awaited project ‘Don 2’. Just days after Arjun was shown the door by Farhan, he has replaced him with Kunal Kapoor. So now it will be the very stylish and handsome Kunal Kapoor who will be seen playing one of the two new characters added to the original Don franchise. Confirming the news, Kunal told a news daily, “I am very excited about the role, as well as being part of a huge franchise like ‘Don’. And the fact that I get to share screen space with SRK makes it twice as exciting.” And even though producer Ritesh Sidhwani confirms that Kunal is doing an important role in the film, he denies that he has replaced Arjun Rampal. Says Ritesh, “Kunal hasn’t replaced Arjun in the film. There is no Jasjeet in the film. Instead we have introduced three new parts in the film and Kunal plays one of them and Lara Dutta plays the second one. We still have to cast for the third character. From the original cast we have Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and Om Puri” Here’s hoping to see Kunal in this multi-starrer.
