Mumbai: Bollywood actor Prateik Babbar, who will be seen in ‘Issaq’ soon, said that he is lucky to have landed his role in the film as it had everything in it.
"I am lucky to play this character. The role has everything in it; drama, violence, heroism. It is a perfect package for any package," he said at the poster and music launch of the film.
The actor also added that he did a lot of preparation for the role.
"I did a lot of preparation for the role. I did voice preparation and also worked on diction.I worked on my physical srtucture as well," he said.
The actor has witnessed both highs and lows in his career and said that he was heartbroken during the time his films were not doing well.
"I was heart broken. When you put in so much of effort and then people don`t like the film, it makes you upset. But I am young and I am a fighter," he said.
Directed by Manish Tiwary, the actor will be seen opposite newcomer Amyra Dastur. The actor was initially apprehensive about her but was in for a pleasant shock.
"I was apprehensive when it came to Amyra as she was so young. I doubted if she will be able to pull off the role. But when she started the workshop, she took everyone by surprise," he said.
The film is all set to release on July 26.
