Not distancing myself from 'Twilight' franchise: Kristen Stewart

Los Angeles:  Actress Kristen Stewart says the 'Twilight' franchise is still very much a part of her existence.

Stewart, 24, appeared on 'Late Night with Seth Meyers' and said how she decompresses after wrapping each film.

"By impulse, definitely. It comes up every single time. You're completely invested for every moment until the very last. Then when it's done, it's like, 'Go home. Stop thinking about it. You're done'.

"So yeah, I feel like I need to either go scrape my knees, or get a sunburn, get a tattoo or chop my hair off. I feel like, 'I'm me again. This is mine. My mind, body everything.' It's mine again," she said.

The actress became a household name and bonafide star thanks to her role as Bella Swan in the 'Twilight' movies, which were released in four installments from 2008 to 2012.

"Oh man, honestly, those are my high school years. In no way am I choosing little indie movies to step away from it," she added.
