Only cheat kisses and lovemaking scenes for Sonakshi and Ranveer in ‘Lootera’?

The people who have been lucky to watch the film in advance have brushed off the rumour of the kissing scene between Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh in the film.

New Delhi: As the Sonakshi Sinha and Ranveer Singh-starrer ‘Lootera’ gears up for a big release this Friday, thanks to the hype surrounding it, the people who have been lucky to watch the film in advance have brushed off rumours of the kissing scene between Sona and Ranveer in the film. An entertainment daily reports that the film’s director has toned down the kissing scene between his lead actors by making it do with a blink-and-miss kiss. This kiss-and-tell-moment is then followed by an aesthetically done love-making scene with Sona and Ranveer finishing it up lying fully clad on the bed, thereby, giving the impression that they have done it all! The daily further reports that perhaps it was Sonakshi’s mom Poonam Sinha’s wish to keep her darling daughter away from intimate scenes with her co-star on the big screen - which is a norm in Bollywood these days. Well, whether Sonakshi does any bold scenes or not, the final outcome on-screen is what really matters. At the end of the day, good acting and direction counts. No? ‘Lootera’ hits the theatres July 5 and is a film adaptation of O Henry’s short story ‘The Last Leaf’.
