Pakistani actress Urwa refuses Ekta Kapoor's 'Azhar'

Karachi: It is being rumored that Pakistani actress Urwa Hocane desires to do meaty roles in Bollywood and she is getting offers for the same as well.

The 23-year-old actress claimed that she refused to play the lead role in Ekta Kapoor's latest production 'Azhar', which is a film based on the former cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin and will see Emraan Hashmi as the lead male, reported the Express Tribune.

Issuing a clarification, she said doing bold scenes were not the only reason to refuse the offer, as she was also busy working on a local production titled 'Jhol.'

Though she has declined the big Ekta Kapoor offer, the 'Kahi Un Kahi' actress claims she has got more in her bag but won't disclose it.

As of now, it seems that the VJ-turned-actress is focused towards doing local films and will soon be seen starring next to Ali Azmat and Bilal Ashraf.
