Mumbai: When it comes to work, blood-relations are no solace for Soha Ali Khan. She is acting alongside darling mom Sharmila Tagore in ‘Life Goes On’, but the experience is no cake-walk.Talking about the film to a news daily, Soha said, “The movie is a family drama about a mother and her daughters. My mom acts as the mother in the film, which is a very emotionally-moving subject. I felt very sad doing certain scenes like the death of the mother. Also, there are certain scenes when there are confessions by a daughter. I felt that my real life was getting mixed with reel life in those.”
She adds that she was literally scared to act with her mother. A little disturbed, the young actor confessed, “She’s a perfectionist. From the hair to the make-up and costumes, she wants everything right. Sometimes, it’s a little tough for me.”
Perhaps Sharmila should soften up her perfectionism; else the strain might crack the still-budding actor.
