Rajinikanth's '2.0' made Akshay Kumar do what he never did in his 25-year-old career

New Delhi: Bollywood star Akshay Kumar always tries to take his on-screen performance up a notch with his every release. The 'Housefull 3' hunk recently admitted that he did something really interesting for the first time in his 25-year-old career for Rajinikanth's starrer '2.0'.

Here, we are talking about make-up. You will be amazed to know that Akki never used make-up in his Bollywood career.

"It used to take me three hours to put make-up and one hour to remove it. In 25 years of my career, I have never put make-up. But in this film, pure 25 years ka kasar pura hogaya," ANI quoted the 49-year old actor as saying.

Damn, that’s cool! Isn’t it?

A sequel to the 2010 Tamil blockbuster "Enthiran", '2.0' is being made on a lavish budget of Rs 350 crore. Akshay will be essaying the prime antagonist in the film as an eccentric scientist called Richard, while megastar Rajinikanth returns as scientist Vaseegaran.

The movie, which is directed by S Shankar, also features Amy Jackson, Sudhanshu Pandey and Adil Hussain. 

'2.0' is scheduled to release on Diwali next year.
