Ranveer turns Marathi for `Mastani`

According to reports, after a lot of speculation about who will cast in Sanjay Leela Bhanasali`s magnum opus `Bajirao Mastani`, it has now been confirmed that Ranveer Singh has bagged the role of `Bajirao`. The actor now, in a bid to do justice to his role and in order to set his diction right, has decided to get a Marathi tutor. If sources are to be believed, the hard task master that SLB is known as - the Marathi tutor idea sprung from the director himself. “In order to give perfection to each shot and delve deeper into his character, Ranveer plans to get tuitions in Marathi as the role play of `Bajirao` will require him to speak in the language”, said a source. Interestingly, it`s none other than his rumoured love interest Deepika Padukone, who has again been paired opposite `Ladies vs Ricky Bahl` star, as `Mastani`. It would certainly bring back the magic their jodi created onscreen with `Ram Leela`. With Ranveer turning into a Marathi Peshwa, the romance between him and Mastani Deepika surely promises to be a treat for the eyes!
