For all those who simply love 3D animation flicks, ‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’ is a sheer visual delight that does not let you down as it dishes out a fantastic story from the franchise of ‘Ice Age’.
‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’ is a complete entertainer that is fully loaded with exquisite wit and humour. The movie promises a gripping storyline that is interspersed with high action scenes that come alive onscreen, all thanks to high-end 3D imagery.
Primarily, ‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’ successfully keeps alive the tradition of its prequels where friends care for each other. Accordingly, when Sid (John Leguizamo) goes ahead and adopts three dinosaur eggs and raises them as his own babies, he ends up being in a dino world. Now, his friends ensure that Sid is not alone thereby getting him back from the dinosaur land.
Well, once in the dinosaur world, it is unlike the primitive world of freezing temperature but a lush green Mediterranean forest that comes with various exotic plants and vegetation. Yet, the forest that appears to be a Paradise at the outset comes with a great peril - its flowers and animals eat everything that move!
In order to save their Sid, three friends are assisted by Buck (Simon Pegg), a brave weasel wielding an eye patch and possessed with the pursuit of a devious dinosaur
From here on, ‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’ gets started with the chase for the lost member in a lightening speed akin to a thriller. As a 3D flick, ‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’ brings invigorating action experience and equally thrilling climax where Buck and a flying dino are chased by umpteen others!
In totality, ‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’ is a delightful flick that keeps you pretty occupied with its firm storyline and spine chilling thrills.
‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’ is a perfect draw for this weekend!
Ratings: Three cheers for this one!
