Salman Khan has some connection with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Ae Dil Hai Mushkil

Salman ‘Dabangg’ Khan does not feature in Ae Di Hai Mushkil but has some interesting connection with the film.

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan has a cameo appearance in Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor and Fawad Khan but what role does Salman Khan have to play?

Well, Salman ‘Dabangg’ Khan does not feature in the multi-starrer but has some interesting connection with the film. According to a report in dnaindia.com, Anushka’s character in the film - Alizeh – is in fact the name of Salman’s niece – Alizeh Agnihotri (daughter of Salman’s sister Alvira and Atul Agnihotri).

"Alizeh (Anushka's character in ADHM) is the name of Salman's niece. Ayan (Ranbir's character) is Ranbir's best friend,” dnaindia.com quoted Karan as saying.

We saw Salman and Aishwarya in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam in 1999. Since then, the former couple hasn’t teamed for a film together.
