Salman Khan promises Mahie Gill a role opposite him

Spicezee Bureau Mumbai: If there is one thing Salman Khan is known for, it’s for keeping his promises. The actor, who recently shared screen space with Mahie Gill in his blockbuster ‘Dabangg’, pacified the peeved lass by promising her a meaty role in his next flick. Mahie, who had been seeing red ever since some of her scenes where edited from the film, is now all smiles. As per reports, just before the film`s trial last weekend, Mahie was left disappointed to note that some of her scenes had been deleted from the flick. After the trial, she met Salman and expressed her dissatisfaction. However, charming as he is, Salman consoled her by saying that he`d work with her again. Confirming the news, a source said, "Mahie worked really hard in ‘Dabangg’. She was super excited about her role, but it was chopped during editing process, keeping the length of the film in mind. She was surprised to see many of her scenes missing." The source further added, "‘Dabangg’ is a huge film for Mahie. Despite her small role, she`s happy to be a part of it. She was happy that Salman personally assured her that he`d do another film with her." Well, looks like Mahie has all the reason to look forward to Sallu’s next project.
