Mumbai: Brand Salman Khan loves the idea of releasing his films during the festive season. And Eid has been extremely special to the actor, for the festival has helped him deliver blockbusters in the recent past.
His films act as a perfect Eidi for his fans across all age groups around the world and makes the occasion a moment worth cherishing for ages to come.
The magnanimous star, hugely popular for his philanthropic endevours, is gearing up for his latest (`Kick`) film`s release.
Salman`s tryst with the Box Office kick-started with Prabhudheva`s `Wanted` which released in September 2009. The film loaded with some breathtaking action sequences turned the tide for the actor.
`Dabangg` (2010), which launched Sonakshi Sinha, took the Box Office by storm. The film had an ensemble cast, foot-tapping numbers and a sizzling hot chemsutry between Salman the mentor and Sonakshi his protege.
Salman hit a hat-trick with `Bodyguard` in 2011. The film which also featured Kareena Kapoor Khan, had an unusual story line and Salman in a never-seen-before avatar.
And with `Ek Tha Tiger` in 2012, Salman Khan struck the purple patch in his career spanning over two decades. The film is noteworthy because Salman romanced his former ladylove Katrina Kaif onscreen thereby setting the temperature soaring.
`Kick` has helped Salman in claiming the Box Office once again. His previous film- `Jai Ho`- failed to deliver as expected and the superstar didn`t have a single release last year. So the Sajid Nadiadwala film has turned out to be a jackpot of sorts for the hunk of an actor.
Here`s wishing Salman Khan all the very best and may `Kick` surpass all his previous blockbusters at the Box Office.
