New Delhi: Well, there is a reason why people call him King Khan. After emerging as the biggest opener of 2016 at the Indian Box Office, Shah Rukh Khan's 'Fan' is now making waves in Pakistan.

The Maneesh Sharma directorial has reportedly minted over Rupees 50 million across Pakistan in just three days. Yeah, that's a new record.

"The biggest generation of revenue has come in Karachi and Lahore and the fans have given the film a thumbs up as bookings for the next one week are sold out in most cineplexes and theatres," a distributing official told PTI.

Lately, Indian films have witnessed great response not just in Pakistan but across the globe. Be it content or making, desi cinema has emerged as a game-changer in the international arena and it is being appreciated by critics worldwide.
