Los Angeles:  The shooting on the 24th 'James Bond' film will begin filming on December 6 this year.

Actor Daniel Craig will return as the iconic British spy for his fourth outing as Bond. Also reprising their roles will be Ralph Fiennes as M, Naomie Harris as Eve Moneypenny, Rory Kinnear as Bill Tanner and Ben Whishaw as Q, reported Variety.

Sam Mendes, who directed the last Bond film 'Skyfall', will be back with the 24th one, which is penned by John Logan.

The script was rewritten by the team of Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. The three scribes collaborated on 'Skyfall' also.

MGM, Sony and producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli announced last summer that they had locked in release dates for the film, setting the UK launch for October 23, 2015, and US for November 6, the same year.
