London: R&B group Blue singer Singer Simon Webbe says he wants to be known as a serious actor in Hollywood.

The 37-year-old "One Love" hitmaker has even thought about moving to Los Angeles, which could mean he would have to give up being a singer in Blue, reported Female First.

"Where I want to be is Hollywood. So if I want to get there, I've got to earn my stripes. It's all about moving there isn't it? If I want to be taken seriously I've got to move there."

Webbe is no stranger to performing on stage as he is currently starring on London's West End and was a contestant BBC's "Strictly Come Dancing".

Before the boyband hunk was in Blue, he started his career in his hometown of Birmingham and had his first leading role his in a school play when he was 15 and he decided to become a performer.

Talking about the Town Hall where it all started he said he always knew he wanted to "entertain and standout".
