SRK to launch David Dhawan’s son in KJo’s next

Spicezee Bureau Mumbai: For any new comer in Bollywood, this could be a dream launch. Buzz has it that industry heavyweight Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar have joined hands to launch David Dhawan`s son, Varun. Reports confirm that Varun Dhawan and Siddhartha Malhotra will start their acting career in the film to be produced by SRK and directed by Karan Johar! At first though it was said, that Karan was to only produce the film but now he has made up his mind to direct it. For the first time ever, Karan will be directing newcomers in a film. Speaking to a daily, a source said, “So far he has only made multi-starrers right from his debut film ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’. However, the interesting part is that the film will be made with the association of SRK`s production house Red Chillies as well and will be a joint venture with Dharma Productions.” “David Dhawan`s son Varun and Sidharth were both assistants to Karan in his last film ‘My Name Is Khan’. Karan also met a couple of young directors for the film. The decision has been kept hush hush and a formal announcement will be been made”, the source added. Even as the reports of the film surfaced, Karan remained unavailable to validate if he would be holding the mega phone for junior Dhawan’s dream debut!
