New Delhi: Actress Sucheta Khanna has donned a new avatar - she will be seen in a negative yet funny role in ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana 2’ (YPD 2) when it hits theatres Friday.
The actress said her partner in crime in the comedy will be Johnny Lever, and veteran actor Anupam Kher plays their boss. The duo is called Bunty-Babli and their mission is to kill Sunny Deol`s character.
But the trouble starts when Sucheta`s character gets attracted to Sunny`s and she is confused how to kill someone whom she adores so much.
Dharmendra and Bobby Deol too feature in it and talking about her experience with the Deols, she said: "I feel blessed to be working with them again. I was a part of the first film and now the second one as well, so it feels like a family now."
"It was really great working with them again. They really take care of the cast and the crew. From our food to accommodation and other things, they looked after everything and also made sure that everyone is comfortable," said the actress who played Poli in "Yamla Pagla Deewana".
She is also returning to the small screen with "Lapataganj Ek Baar Phir!", the second season of the comedy show "Lapataganj", and says it`s very "refreshing" to come back.
She said: "`Indumati` (her character in `Lapataganj`) is the most successful characters of my career. The character`s base will be the same but in terms of performance, it will be more comic this time."
A keen traveller, Sucheta wants to do a "travel show". "I just love to travel and I want to go to all the mystic places on earth," she said.
