Sushant Singh Rajput departs from 'Half Girlfriend'

New Delhi: Sushant Singh Rajput has reportedly walked out of Mohit Suri's 'Half Girlfriend', an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat's namesake popular novel.

A Mirror report suggests that though Sushant was keen to be part of Suri's film, he had to opt out of the same owing to his prior commitment to Dinesh Vijan.

Sushant, who will soon be see essaying Mahendra Singh Dhoni in a biopic, regretted his decision to depart from Suri's project.

Buzz now suggests that Arjun Kapoor is being considered to play the male lead in Suri's big screen adaptation while Kriti is working on her dates to see if she could do the film.
