Zee Media Bureau Mumbai: Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor starring '2 States' releases this April and the trailer was officially launched with 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects'. '2 States: The Story Of My Marriage' is author Chetan Bhagat's best seller and the feature is being helmed by Abhishek Varman. Alia's performance for her latest release 'Highway', is being highly appreciated by the industry experts and expectations run high from the new comers. "It`s a dream come true for me to be part of this film. I`m grateful to Karan Johar, Sajid Nadiadwala and Chetan Bhagat to have cast me in `2 States`," Arjun told reporters at the event. Alia, who debuted with Karan Johar's 'Student of the Year' said, "I was reading `2 States` while I was shooting for `Student Of The Year`. I never thought a film will be made on this and I really liked the character of Ananya in the book. She is damn cool and I am happy to do this film." The film`s plot revolves around a Punjabi boy, who falls in love with a Tamil girl. The regional and cultural clash that it leads to is what forms the rest of the story.
